Lets talk catch up
The last two weeks have been unpredictably busy and eye opening. I have realized how easy it is to hurt peoples ego and although some of us have learned to not care much for it, I can whole heartedly say its a huge ick of mine. Don’t get me wrong I’m aware I myself can also get my ego hurt, but I think my method of cutting that person off is a pretty healthy way to cope with it. Kidding.
There’s so much I want to say and cannot seem to be able to write it out.
Okay, two weeks ago I made a choice about how do I say it…my career.
Honestly, it has been one of the best choices I have made. It wasn’t even planned, yes I had been thinking about it for a long time. I gave it thought, very little, but it’s more than I can say about most my decisions. However, one day I woke up and realized I couldn’t return to a place that just drained the life out of my person.
Believe me deciding to pursue a career for six month and abruptly leaving, was not easy and even harder to justify my actions and have people in my life support me. At least that is what I feared.
However, my circle appeared to think a break for me to truly pursue my ultimate passions and discover who I really am has been such a blessing. Yes, it was a stressfull process but it could have been worse.
It was a relief knowing that most of the horrible things that I thought about in my head didn’t, and indeed lived only in my head. For once, my support system want me to take things slow, not having to worry about materials and having me just focus on my mental. That will be my why. It is my why.
Learning to believe in my own potential the way my friends and family do. To execute everything that seems to be so scattered in my head. This include focusing on my abundance and happiness.
What does that look like to me ?
That means being confident in my work. Weather its my writing, my modeling, or curating a video. I am ready to say what I want and aim for it, because like many before me, I will speak it into excistence. I will stop letting my past define me. It has molded me and I cannot be more proud of my journey. As messy as it has been, it shows how passionate of a person I can be about things I care about in my life.
I am ready to claim my happiness.
